 Jesus said: "I have come that they should have life and have it more abundantly".

Wow! What a wonderful opportunity to fulfill your purpose and destiny in life through the power of a loving God.

You may ask: How can that be so?

The answer is simple; Jesus said "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.".

God is not a concept or a religion or even who you decide that He is. He is God! He is in desperate pursuit of a relationship with you! He sent His only begotten Son (His very best) to earth to hang on the cross and die a horrible, agonizing death, to bear your sins in His body so that you could be reconciled and restored to friendship with Him!

This is why the bible says:

"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

God did not say He would love only the religious people or the good people or the rich people. He sent His love to the sinner! We all qualify as sinners and deserve eternal damnation for our sinful ways but the good news is that we all qualify for eternal life through a relationship with God through Jesus Christ!

Jesus said: "I am the way and the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father (God) except through the Son".

You cannot get to heaven with good deeds, religious activities or just "doing it your way", nothing you do can bring you into a right relationship with God. You can only be saved from your sin by faith in Jesus Christ.

Simple faith. Only Believe.

The bible says:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

And:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

You can come to Jesus right now with a simple prayer from the heart such as this:

Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, that you love me and that you want me to become all that you have purposed me to be. I confess my sin right now and ask you to forgive me and set me apart for your use. My life is yours, I forsake my sinful ways and make you the Lord of my life.

Amen
